Thomas

Meet Thomas. He’s almost 8, is in the second grade, and has a girl that is a friend (NOT a “girlfriend”). We hit the streets of Deep Ellum yesterday with his rockin’ skateboard, a few cool outfits, and his mom to cheer him on. He has some serious skateboarding moves, and these absolutely gorgeous blue eyes. I just love this age!

He was such a little fashion model! But his biggest fan? His gorgeous, soft hearted, amazing mom. She was our homestudy caseworker for our adoption, and got to know our family VERY well (and she still likes us! She even approved our homestudy! Obviously she’s a smart woman BESIDES being beautiful both inside and out :) )

Sofia + Jake

My two eldest (Sam and Ben) have best friends that just happen to also be brother and sister…meet Jake and Sofia (and their gorgeous parents). These kids are at our house (or ours are at theirs) just as often as they can finagle it, and of course we love it because they are just the sweetest, most respectful kids with great big hearts (and we parents KNOW how important that is!).

Jake and Sof’s mom is also the magic behind several of Sugar’s gorgeous mommies…her hair and makeup skills are incredible, and her cute new salon, Moxie, is about as funky and cool as it gets.

Everett + Alex

I’m totally posting yesterday’s sessions out of order…

The LAST session yesterday (who had to look at me for an hour in my most disheveled, uber-queasy (more on that later), not-a-drop-of-makeup, scary state…poor family!) belongs to these two brothers. Everett and Alex have been Sugar more than once…namely here, here, here and oh yeah, here (plus, there was one more from 2005, but I guess I didn’t blog way back then. Bummer.).

This time we went a little more funky, and had a ball exploring Deep Ellum. Somewhere we took a wrong turn and stumbled across a cool little area that I hadn’t seen before…can’t wait to try and find it again!

Izabella

Last year I had the best time with Izabella, and was thrilled when her mom called to book a session for their holiday cards again. She had the cutest clothes last year, and this year’s wardrobe certainly did NOT disappoint!

Dylan, Libby + Ella

One of our weather-rescheduled sessions from last week was of this fashion forward, full of love, family of five (say that four times fast).

Dylan, Libby and Ella are the trio of gorgeous girls that calls Sugar’s own stylist Mommy. Mindy has an amazing sense when it comes to finding that perfect outfit for your shoot, and once again, her girls were dressed in drool-worthy clothes. Take a peek:

I love these girls because they truly do adore one another, and it shows. Of course, we tried to keep Miss Ella in the middle of each grouping…she IS the star of the show, dontcha know!
