Luke + Caroline {dallas childrens photographer}

The word of the day/week/month/summer is “BEHIND”…as in this session is WAY overdue on the blog (along with several others that will be posted over the next few days). Life as a mom to 3 awesome (but active (and, in the case of my youngest, destructive)) kids that are home full-time for the summer is a challenge. Add selling our house (and keeping it show-ready, can I get an ‘Amen!’ for everyone that has done that with kids!) while juggling it all as a single mom? Well, that’s my excuse. It’s not exciting, but *shrug* there it is. THANKFULLY, I get to escape the chaos and play with other peoples’ kiddos, and when work is your salvation? You know you’ve got a pretty sweet life (no pun intended ;) ).

So here are Luke and Caroline…twins that *just* turned 3 (and have the t-shirts to prove it). You gotta love a mom that accessorizes with rainboots!!

These kids are as wild and rambunctious as any pair of 3 year olds, but their sweet side? Delicious to watch unfold.

They were just the right amount of sassy, too. It doesn’t get more swoon-worthy than this (work it, Caroline!):

This sneak peek is a little heavier on images than usual…I got sort of carried away with these girls. Take a look, and you’ll see why ;)

It’s my favorite time of year not only because we see repeat clients year after year right about now, but also because of the NEW ones that jump on the Sugar bandwagon. I hope these girls join the ranks of Sugar repeaters along with all the rest.

Katy + Andrew {dallas children’s photographer}

Katy and Andrew had their annual Sugar session during our minis on Sunday, and not only did Katy get to show off her nifty new cast, but a certain baby bump was unveiled (promising a new little peanut to photograph in early 2011-CANNOT WAIT!). You know how I love 3rd babies!

Until then, however, we were content playing with just these two. And they were easy-peasy to photograph. Love!

John Stephen and Olivia brought their cutie-pie parents out to our minis on Sunday, and while I DO admit to gnashing my teeth and shaking my fist at the weather just two weeks earlier, deciding to reschedule the mini sessions to Sunday proved to be a very wise choice.

Thankfully, this has been my mantra for these last gazillion blog posts: Perfect weather, gorgeous kids, amazing light.

The other part of my mantra also applies: Best session YET for this family.

Take a peek at the adorableness!

We had our third session with these gorgeous girls, and once again…it was our best session yet! We had the most perfect weather, great light, beautiful subjects, and an all-around amazing shoot!
