Carmen…

Another babyplanner has officially graduated from Sugar. SNIFF SNIFF!

Sweet Carmen charmed me early on, and we had a great time at her 6 month session. But this session, at 17 months, is the one that absolutely blew me away. I know very few (if any) 17 month olds that are as cognitive and aware as she is (I mean, hello…she’s POTTY TRAINED!).

We had a blast this morning! Take a look at this sweet, oh-so-big girl.

Campbell…

Sweet Campbell had her last babyplan session today, just one year and one day from the first time I met her (sniff, sniff).  She has grown so much (even from the last time I saw her), and I will dearly miss seeing these big blue eyes every few months.

The proverbial Yellow Polka Dot Bikini ;)

Annie + Lucy…

Kelly asked about a session months ago, right after arriving home with her youngest daughter, and today was finally the day…the weather cooperated, the girls were darling, and just take a look at the clothes she put together. Yummy!

We had a ball today, and from the gorgeous clothes to the drums to the antique truck, this session had a definite cool factor working for it from the word go.

For those that don’t know Kelly and Justin, they are the parents to Lucy and Annie. Kelly keeps a very active blog with LOTS of followers (no pressure!)…and as a photographer that just hung her shingle up for business, it’s an honor to be asked to photograph her sweet family.

Kelly-I hope you love!

Justin is a drummer for a touring band, and I can’t tell you WHO he tours with, but I will say that they’ve been to the Grammy’s.  And in case they were wondering, I am *always* available to play personal photographer at their next Grammy appearance ;) (I’m a giver like that)

Harper Amelia…

Last week I had the great honor of documenting sweet Harper’s arrival, and the precious introduction to her three big sisters.  On Saturday we had her newborn session, and I had another chance to play with this new little one.

Trying to get three big ones to sit still with one little one is never easy. But I *heart* this image so much, and had to show it.

Sisters. Love it.

And with that…I’m out!  I’m setting my alarm to go off in (HOLY COW! TWO HOURS???) so I can join 19 of my favorite Montessori Mamas on our annual trek to Mexico.  Yes, our school rocks.  ;)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Pink or Blue?

I was lucky enough to help welcome a new little life into this world today…the newest baby in a family with three girls.  The big question of the day: What would it be?

Votes were cast by the bazillion family members in the waiting room, and I had a mental bet placed (I said girl).

At 3:54 pm Harper Amelia came into the world with the sweetest, softest cry I have ever heard. Another girl!

She weighs a dainty 7 pounds 1 ounce, and looks *just* like her three sisters.

The three big sisters were fetched from the waiting room and allowed to be the first to see their new baby, find out what SHE was, and hear her name.

I think they were a *mite* excited:

When the time came to hold her, tears and pleads of “Me first! “I wanna hold her!” came fast and hard from this little trio of big sisters.  Daddy was fair and let them each have a turn, going from youngest to oldest.

No longer the middle child, sweet Ellie had a hard time sharing (but an easy time loving on) her new baby sister.

This just says it all:

Congratulations everyone!  Harper is a love, and I can’t wait to see her grow and change.

Welcome to the wold Harper Amelia!
