Bentley, Grayson, Spencer + Rebecca

Meet the center of the family, Rebecca:

She has 2 older brothers (Grayson and Spencer) and an older sister (Bentley)…but SHE is still front and center (I just wanted to EAT her up!). She has tons of personality, and just like any youngest sibling, KNOWS how to keep her place in the family.

Just don’t get a little TOO close, or THIS might happen:

I *heart* big families…they sometimes seem easier to navigate through a photo session with than an only child.

We had a lot of fun too…These last two are for the boys (who insisted I take these, and I can’t help but hope that the grass stains came out of their clothes (Sorry Mom!).

John Stephen + Olivia

IMG_5690

I just adore this little family. They always have bright, sunny smiles and are quick to laugh about absolutely everything. And we had LOTS to laugh about during their mini session on Saturday.

Their dear John Stephen is in LOVE with the camera these days, and has a desire to be front and center. I had THE BEST time just letting the kids do their own thing, and almost every time I focused the camera on Olivia this bright and shining little face would creeeeep into the viewfinder. I was *rolling*!

(see his sister in the background?)

I asked Olivia to dance and twirl, and Oh! Look! John Stephen! (LOVE THAT KID)

I did manage to sneak in a few of the little Princess though, without her brother around ;) (her little toes were chilly)

Ava + Ben

IMG_5828

Little Ava and sweet Ben are growing up! I’ve photographed Ava since her first birthday, and just love watching these kids grow and change year after year. I always feel so lucky, so honored, and so blessed to have the same families come back year after year. That loyalty means so much!

Ava is just SO big, but I’m thrilled to see that she hasn’t outgrown her cheeks just yet. ;)

And little Ben…who is now walking and busy, busy, busy…he kept us on our toes but I was still able to capture his stunning blue eyes. LOVE!

A break in the action…

Sweet Tyra emailed me last week to let me know that Yo, I need to put my name in the hat for the Matilda Jane photography competition…And so, like anyone else who would LOVE to have a Matilda Jane dress to play with I said OH HELLZ YES.

And today Tyra emailed to let me know that I’m in! I’m in!

I can’t WAIT. I requested Coco’s size, because she’s the most cooperative model in the house (even if she IS in fourteen different directions at once).

These are from yesterday…Workin’ it in her new poncho.

Thank you, Matilda Jane! My wheels are already spinning with ideas!

Mason + Collin

Meet Mason, and his brother Collin.

We know Mason from school…he was in my eldest daughter’s class the past few years, and I vaguely knew his mom as ‘That pretty girl that I’m not going to like’ (admit it…you moms have the same label click into place when you first meet someone *that* pretty. It’s just me? Okay then. Moving on….)

She’s *that* pretty. And after I got to know her, realized that she’s even nicer and down to earth than she is pretty (which says a LOT). Yeah, I might have a girl crush on Mason’s Mommy. I admit it.

But look at this cute family! Wouldn’t you?

of course, the boys aren’t too shabby either…

In other words, I was honored that they asked for a Sugar session, thrilled to squeeze them in, and didn’t even mind getting up early on a Sunday to hang out with the pretty people. ;)

One more, just for the cool guy:
