I’m sure this family doesn’t need an introduction. Maggie and her parents have been followed by scores of blog readers for years (if you’re new to the story of Allie, click HERE). I consider myself lucky to be able to count Jenny and her family among my nearest and dearest friends, and our annual photo shoot was an absolute blast from beginning to end.
She laughs like a banshee, dances like Elaine, and has the blue eyes and blond hair of an angel. LOVE. THIS. CHILD.

We let Maggie take the spotlight, but did try to find time for the newest little girl in the Scott household, baby Katie (due in early 2010).

I am looking at these with tears in my eyes. I can’t believe it’s almost been four years since you entered our living room and our lives. Maggie was ten days old and I was so scared to be raising this new child as a grieving mom. And in walks this cool photographer with a gentle and warm smile to capture my new family. Little did I know it would become one of the best relationships of my life. I am forever grateful for the gifts of this friendship, Jen. I love you so much. I can’t wait for Miss Katie to get in front of your camera lens as you help us document this next chapter in my family’s life.
Maggie has been talking all about Miss Jen and how much she loves you!!
Absolutely beautiful and heart warming photos! You capture the essence of this adorable little girl and her wonderful parents so very well!
I am amazed. Not only because of the beautiful photos, but the timing. I remember several years ago when Jenny was blogging about going through Allie’s illness and loss – her pregnancy and the birth of Maggie. I would follow her through her journey every day – praying, grieving, rejoicing with a family I’d never meet… I was just thinking about this precious family who had made such an impact on my life back then and wondering how they were doing. What a blessing to find them here and see them so blessed and beautiful!
Love these pictures!! Love the red dress!! Maggie is soooo cute! They took my breath away…..
Your photos are beautiful. I wish you were closer, I’d have you photograph my daughter! Always spectacular. That 2nd last photo of Maggie is breathtaking.

These are simply stunning! They look like modeling photos! Can’t wait to meet Miss Katie.
Absolutely adore Miss Maggie and her sassy dancing skillz in her darling red dress…and the picture in gray on the steps…breathtaking.
Wow – absolutely gorgeous pictures. I was going to say which was my favorite, but then I kept changing my mind – they are all so beautiful. The one of Maggie dancing can’t help but make me smile, and the one of her sitting on the steps and those blue eyes…breathtaking! You are truly so, so talented – if you are ever in Charleston, SC let me know…I’d steal you away for a photo shoot.
Jenn
girlfriend…these are stunning. stunning, i tell you.
Beautiful photosgraphs of Jenny’s family. So excited for them and their new addition. Maggie looks so much older in these photos! Where was the location? With the first shot I thought maybe the Riverwalk in SA but the others with the building facades don’t look like it.
Absolutely beautiful!!! I have followed this beautiful family since Allie’s battle! I’m honored to be allowed a peek inside this beautiful family day to day growth!
It was such a treat to see Maggie – she is absolutely beautiful. And those blue eyes – just breathtaking. You can see the love Jenny and Andreww have and I can’t wait to see pictures of Katie. Maybe I will just have to make a trip to TX to see them all in person. Thanks for sharing. What a Blessing!!
I remember a similar little girl’s face just as beautiful looking at me when she was just a few hours old. It was about 31 years ago. Her mother is my best friend. My heart was filled with joy the same as when I looked at these pictures. It just can’t get any better than this.
She’s so precious and these pictures are priceless!! Hope to see some of little Katie very soon!
