I had two photo sessions scheduled back to back. While I was on my way to the first one, I realized that I forgot my planner/notebook that had the locations in them. I couldn't remember which session was at which location?!?!?! I tried to call my husband from my cell but had no luck. I was racking my brain to remember "who was where" and THANK GOODNESS I ended up at the correct location for the correct clients!! Whew....Oh yeah....also was a 2nd shooter at a wedding with one memory card which was 1/2 full. YEEK!! A little too close for comfort. Only now am I able to find the humor in it! I was terrified!!!

Okay, I'll confess.

I was doing a shoot 45 minutes from my house at a location I had never used before and was (for the first time EVER) running a half an hour early! I found an awesome parking spot, scouted the park, got my camera out and... NO CARDS. ANYWHERE. I panicked, got out my cell phone and - wonder of wonder, miracle of miracles! - found a Ritz camera store about three blocks away. They were twice the price than I normally pay, but worth it obviously. I managed to make it BACK to the park and still be on time!

Hasn't happened since though! I am now fanatical about triple checking that cards are where they belong!

haha! Well jen if it makes you feel any better....

About 8 years ago we arrived at Prather for an 11 am shoot.....and somehow managed to lock both cameras (35 and medium format) in the trunk of our beater Honda Civic. With our clients right there, watching! Did I mention the keys were in the trunk too? Kim Wylie was there at the park shooting and I borrowed Jessica's (Kim partner) car to drive home to RICHARDSON to get an extra set of keys. Drove back to Highland Park to get said keys and cameras out of trunk. By this time, my little subject was about ready for lunch and nap time. But, we composed ourselves, little subject rallied and the high noon light was kept at bay with a nice sheer cloud the whole time. Phew. Thankfully, never again.

Cute pics BTW!
