Lyla + Gannon…

The very first session from Friday’s mini sessions was this little duo, Lyla and Gannon.  I have no words for these little towheaded, blue eyed cuddle bugs. Gannon is oh-so-very 5, but he forgets…I have one of those at home too.  Dude…I so totally have your number! ;)

Daniel + Charlie…

I was looking through our list of mini sessions last week, preparing to send out our confirmation emails, when I saw a name I recognized. These two little guys go to my kids’ school, and Daniel was in my son Ben’s class last year.  It was so fun to see these boys outside of school (and off the soccer field, playground, etc).

(Look at Mr. GQ here…Daniel has THE most amazing lashes)

CJ + Aidan…

Our mini sessions on Friday were amazing!  We had perfect weather, gorgeous light, easy kids and cool clothes. What more could a girl want?

Here are CJ and Aidan…graduated baby planners that have joined our annual bevy of mini sessioners (is that a word? work with me here…)

The morning light?  Unbelievable.

This face kills me…that’s her smile.  You want to eat her up now, don’t you :) (yeah, me too)

Emma, Ella, Evyn + CARTER!

I love this little family, though they are not so little anymore!

Sweet Carter is the new little brother to my three favorite girls, and I have to say new because although he’s 1, we just met on Friday.   Oh-I could squeeze and hug and love on him all day!  He is just SO DARN HAPPY!

Of course, with three doting sisters, I don’t think he gets much of a chance to want for anything ;)

I owe you guys pictures…

lots and lots of pictures.

The adoption session from Thursday night. The mini sessions from Friday. And the big family session from Friday too.

But yeah…I was bad this weekend. I hung out with the kids, cheered at my son’s first soccer game, saw some friends, and had a late dinner in Fort Worth with a few of my favorite girls.  Today it was the pumpkin patch, the building of train tracks and practicing of cartwheels, and a picnic table dinner in the backyard.

Tonight?  I’m on pins and needles waiting for The Call that I need to hightail it to Fort Worth.

And in case it does come tonight…I’m gonna need some sleep. So forgive me, sweet families…but you’ll see them in another day or two.  They are awesome, and they will be worth the wait!
