Nephew Caleb…

One of my sessions today was extra near and dear to my heart…it is my nephew’s one year session!  They live in Houston and my sister had planned to be here this weekend anyway.  The one good thing about Ike? It forced Caleb’s Daddy to evacuate and join his family in time for their session this morning.

He’s a HUGE trooper for surviving the 7+ hour drive (did you SEE the traffic on the news?) and arriving after 2am.  A little coffee, a big hug from his baby boy, and we were good to go!

This kid has THE best expressions. I love the way he crinkles his nose and smiles, especially at my beautiful little sister. Love you S!

(okay, so I was sort of a willing victim. Actually, it’s funny because we spent SO much time talking about clothing and color choices, multiple emails flew back and forth with snapshos of their clothing laid out.  And what did we do? Stripped the poor kid naked.

And you know what we always say…it’s not over until somebody cries! ;)

    By the way, I can’t believe how many teeth he has! My nephew just turned 1 year old on August 27, and as of Labor Day weekend, he only had four teeth (two on top, two on bottom).

    I always check out your blog, your photography is amazing! I was looking at the naked nephew picture and my four year old was VERY concerned that he was getting dirt in his bum. LOL!
