Oh baby, baby, baby…

I have to share these three cuties with all of you-meet Logan, Travis and Ian.

I know Ian is the biggie on the left, but Logan and Travis are identical, and I, for the life of me, can’t tell them apart… ;)   Aren’t they darling?

A yummy newborn smile…

Big sister Lauren is such a help to her parents, and it’s easy to see that she loves her baby brothers to the moon and back.

Mommy and her nest of babies…all four of them.

Random happiness…

We are tired, sunburned, and oh-so-happy after a “weekend” at the lake with our nearest and dearest.  Dubbed The Posse by Minivan Mom herself, this weekend was the first of our now annual treks to LBJ Lake with our families in tow.

As I sit down over the next two days to prepare to edit 6 sessions and photograph a total of 4 newborns (three at once!), I realize just how behind and buried I am.  Which means, I can’t play with the photos we snapped this weekend like I want to. *pout, gnash, humph*

So I limited myself to playing with just one from each of the three sessions we did while at the lake.

Enjoy!

Minivan mom’s youngest, sweet Lucy.

The Franklin Five (sorry-but WHAT IS UP with the washed out colors on these???)

And the sweet, sweet love between two blogging (and real life) buddies, Maggie from Mama’s on a Playdate and Hopper from Permission to Get Dirty.

Those that we didn’t photograph will get their chance as we get a little closer to the holidays, since their babies are still teeny tiny.  But next year we should be able to get everyone in the gorgeous Hill Country with their families.  And I might even snap a few of my own kids!

Gracie and her brothers…

Gracie and her brothers met us on Saturday morning for our one-day-early Adoption Sunday session (Summer vacay means we sometimes have to shuffle folks around so WE can enjoy a little vacay, and a big ol’ *MWAH* to everyone for being so understanding!).

Gracie brought her three brothers to the session, one of which is also adopted.

Matthew is now 18, and has that swagger (and cool hair!) to match…but it’s easy to see how loved he is, by everyone around him.

Gracie was adopted from China last year at 9.5 months, and is now a happy and busy almost-2-year-old. Her family just delights in her joy, and I loved watching them interact.

James…

James brought his big brother Spencer and his cutie-pie parents to his session on Saturday, and we had a ball! He is just *gorgeous*, with those big eyes and long lashes…just look at that happy little face!

James’ parents received him into their home as a foster child. He came to them traight from the hospital as a newborn, weighing less than 5 pounds and addicted to Heroin. Adopted at 114 months and now a bright and vivacious 2 year old, it’s amazing to think of how far he’s come.
