First today was sweet Ben. Sweet, marble-lovin’, dino-growlin’, nap-droppin’, three-and-a-half year old Ben. I have one of these at home too (same name even!) and it took us about half a second to hit it off.
Ben and his mommies are part of our adoption project (we’ll share more details soon, I promise). He is from Russia, and this soft spoken, bright little man was such a joy to be around today. Just a joy.
His mommies? Well, he’s absolutely the center of their lives. Love like this family has for one another is something that we can never have enough of in this world. Truly.
Ben-thanks for letting me move your dinosaur. I hope I was able to put his leg back on the right way!
After Ben we met up at the park for our second adoption session of the day: Abby, Ellie, Lucy Grace and Zoe. These girls were *such* fun, and they were busy, busy, busy!
Sweet Zoe is just a cuddle bear. I wanted to snuggle her in my lap all night long.
Pumpkin Lucy Grace is the busy one of the group. Full of spunk and not afraid to voice her opinions…she is absolutely adorable with her big smile and soft curls.
Here’s the whole little family…(don’t you love their Presbyterian Pastor of a Dad rocking his bow tie? That’s a church *I* want to sign up for!). Zoe and Lucy Grace were adopted domestically, one through CPS and one privately, and they are truly two of the happiest, silliest (and fastest) girls I know!
Thank you everyone for participating today!
If you are an adoptive family, adult adoptee, or have an open adoption with your child’s adoptive parents AND live in the North Texas area, feel free to contact us for more information on this very special project!
