The whole world smiles with him!
This morning was Matthew’s 4 month baby plan session. His mommy combined our 2 session “Sweet Beginnings” package (maternity and newborn) with our 3 session “Sugar and Spice” baby plan (3 sessions in the first year). This means I get to see a LOT of Matthew, and I look forward to it like crazy!
For one, his sister Caroline is the munchkin that prompted me to create a baby plan in the first place.
For another, she looks forward to seeing me as much as I look forward to seeing her. I’ve known her since she was just 4 months old, and there is nothing more special than seeing these sweet babies grow up, learn to sit, crawl, walk, talk, and then become big sisters and brothers to new babies.
It’s a special thing, this job I have.
So anyway…Matthew.
He smiles.
A lot.
And I don’t mean just with his mouth or cheeks…He smiles with his entire body. Take a look:
And here:
Admit it…you’re smiling now too!
He is just a joy! And a bit of a chunk…I can’t wait for his next session when we get to showcase all those rolls as he sits up like a big boy!
And when Matthew cries…he cries with his whole body too.

Thank you for your beautiful pics of my nephew Matthew & niece Caroline! They warm my heart every day! (And the hearts of everyone I know who is “forced” to see them!
You enrich the lives of so many every day!
Much love and admiration, Auntie Amy
Hi. I just want to say, your images are beautiful. I’m always checking your blog for inspiration. I JUST LOVE YOUR WORK! I’m just starting to shoot professionally in WA, and I was just wondering if you would share how you get those skin tones so pretty! Bright, but not washed-out/highlight bright. Any suggestions? khoneycutt@live.com
Auntie Amy had a BIG birthday last October, and afterwards, she gave me a framed photo of her brother (Matthew’s daddy), herself, and me (Matthew’s paternal Mimi). I had my mouth wide open (flattering??), laughing out loud, but Amy told me she could HEAR me when she looked at it. Indeed, now I understand exactly what she meant. Your work has captured the LOOKS and SOUNDS of our Caroline and Matthew since they were born. Babies grow up so fast; thank you for the memories!!

I smile, laugh out loud and cry over your Holloway family photos. They are incredibly moving and visually artistic. I am still taken by surprise at the next creative shot, and then the next…
