We had such fun this morning (and it started on the right foot when the guys working on the house next door whistled as I walked up to Ava’s house. That’s all it took to put a smile on my face and a lift in my step. Yes, I’m easy like that.)
Ava and I had a ball in her front yard. We explored the landscaping in the side yard and had serious conversations about princesses and ballerinas.
Who is her favorite princess?
“Ava!” (of course!)
Sweet Ava thought I did such a good job that she had her Mommy give me a lollipop! It was yummy-thanks Ava-bug!

As always, I look at your work and think “Oh, MAN, she is brilliant!” But today, looking at this last one, with the light coming in through the door, I have to say “How does she DO that?”
After oogling all the DSLR’s out there, and tiring of my point and shoot, I finally got one for my birthday, but now the trick is, I have to learn to USE the darn thing. Until now, the only time I ever used the phrase “Fstop” was when my son came too close to running over me with his scooter! I’ll keep trying to figure it out though, because that sound when you push the button is just too addictive. I will never in a million bazillion years come anywhere close to Sugar, but a girl can dream, can’t she?
