Gorgeous weekend ahead!

I hope everyone has a fun weekend!

We have two sweet sessions planned-one with 4 month old Gabriella, who I haven’t seen since her newborn session and I can’t wait!

Also a first birthday party for Alex! I hear there’s going to be a clown!!!

Until then-big thanks to Sydney and Lexi’s parents for allowing us to showcase their session this week on our website. Their girls have the most amazing eyes (and I swear on my camera, I did NO manipulation on Sydney’s eyes…they are that gorgeous in real life).

Hello Mommies!

Dallas Child is now accepting submissions for their “Best for Families” issue. CLICK HERE to register and spend some time mulling over your favorites to pick THE best…place to have a baby, kid friendly restauarant, baby sitting service, etc. (Psst! There’s even a spot for Best Family Photographer!) Be prepared, there are LOTS of categories-grab a cup of coffee and put your feet up (it took me a while).

For all my gorgeous mommy-clients:

“We’re looking for Moms that turn heads wherever they go – the supermarket, the football stands, or Kindergarten. Our Casting Directors are looking for the Hottest Moms in Dallas, with style, confidence, and sexuality beyond the carpool!”

This weekend is a casting call for The Hottest Mom in America. If you’d like to enter (and every single one of you should!) let me know and I’ll email them one of your photos from a session!

This Saturday, September 16 at Reunion Arena! Go!!! Make me proud!

On a completely different note-today marks a very special anniversary for a little one that touched many lives while she was here. Even more amazing, two years after her passing and she continues to touch lives every single day. Allie Scott is a local hero-and her Mom, Dad, and little sister Maggie are in my thoughts today. Jenny and Andrew, you continue to inspire and amaze with your strenth, passion, and unwillingness to let this disease win.

Take a minute, if you can, to visit their blog to let them know that Allie was remembered today.

And while you’re at it, consider visiting Heroes for Children and making a small donation in her honor…I just did, and it felt *great*!

October Covers…

This morning we played with two precious 4 year olds, each of whom will grace the October issues of Dallas Child and Fort Worth Child.

Meet Iris (Dallas)

and Briauna (Fort Worth)

Both girls were absolutely charming, and because my Sam is the same age we had lots in common…My Little Ponies, LazyTown, and Dora were hot topics of discussion.

Request for prayers, good thoughts, healing vibes, etc

Sweet Audrey is having a rough time, and I have been lax in checking her blog. Sadly I see that she had surgery a few days ago and is just having an all around cruddy weekend. If you get a chance, send her a little strength.

Three Princesses and a Birthday Boy

So many of my sweet baby planners are turning One! (sniff, sniff)

Jarrett continues to amaze with his beautiful blue eyes…and today was no exception!

Today was also a chance to work with another photographer’s family, which is always just a teensy bit stressful. These three were in six different places at the same time (I bow down to parents of three kids or more…though at the same time you always seem to make it seem easy and manageable!)

I’m still picking burrs out of my socks, shoes, pant legs, and even my hair (don’t ask-Even I’m not quite sure how they got there). But once we got past the hordes of bees guarding the parking lot we had fun!
